  • Austin/Austin Corners – Groveland Township, Dixie Highway and Oakhill Road
  • Bald Eagle – Brandon Township, M-15 south of Glass Road
  • Bald Mountain – Orion Township, Bald Mountain and Dutton Roads
  • Benson – Royal Oak/Troy Township
  • Big Beaver – Troy Township, 16 Mile (Big Beaver) and Rochester Roads
  • Big Pinery – Orion Township, between Miller’s Lake and Mill Lake, north of Walton Road
  • Brandon – Brandon/Oxford Township border, Baldwin Road between Seymour Lake and Drahner Roads
  • Campbell’s Corners – Addison/Oakland Township border, 32 Mile (Romeo) and Rochester Roads
  • Canadaigua/New Canadaigua/Canadaigua City – Orion Township, Heights Road and M-24
  • Clark’s Corners – Orion Township, southeast corner of Scripps Road and M-24
  • Clintonville – Waterford Township, Clintonville and Walton Roads

      • Known as the Husted Settlement in 1833, changed to Anderson Settlement and then Andersonville
    • Auburn Heights – Pontiac Township, Auburn and Squirrel Roads, First named Amy
    • Auburn Hills – formed from Pontiac Township in 1983
    • Bloomfield Hills – Bloomfield Township, Long Lake Road and Woodward Avenue known as Bloomfield Center
    • Farmington Hills – formed from Farmington Township in 1972
    • Southfield
      • Southfield Township – The area at 10 1/2 Mile and Berg Roads was known as Crawford’s Corners.
      • 10 Mile and Lahser was known as Southfield Center. The two joined to become the city of Southfield
    • Rochester Hills – formed from Avon Township in 1984
    • South Lyon – Lyon Township, 10 Mile Road and Pontiac Trail
      • In 1835 it was known as Thompson’s Corners. Became South Lyon in 1873
    • Troy – Troy Township, Livernois and Square Lake Roads
      • Plated as Hastings in 1838, later known as Troy Corners, Union Corners, Niles Corners, and Troy Center
    • Wixom – Novi/Commerce Township border, Maple (15 Mile) and Wixom Roads
      • Known as Sibley’s Corners after Alonzo Sibley
