Welcome to WGS (Waterford Genealogical Society). We are located in Waterford, Michigan and are based out of the Waterford Township Public Library. We currently have our regular monthly meetings from 1:00 to 3:00 pm on the first Wednesday of every month in the Community Room, except for November when we have our Annual Luncheon at a local restaurant.

Calendar/Meetings

We also have special evening ZOOM meetings from 7:00 to 8:30 pm – hosted by Julia Hanneman-Schoenbach on a variety of topics with the first half hour reserved for Germanic Genealogy questions.

With this reboot of our website we have added a new calendar that describes all of our meetings/events going forward for our organization as well as for those societies around us. We focus on those providing free content!
